New tender: Psychosocial support services
Posted on November 13, 2018
Primary Health Tasmania has opened a tender for services to support Tasmanians with severe and episodic mental illness.
It comes after the Australian Government provided funding under the PHN Program for the National Psychosocial Support (NPS) Measure to improve the health of Tasmanians with mental illnesses that are serious, but don’t permanently reduce their day-to-day functioning.
People who are not current clients of an existing psychosocial support service and who are not catered for by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will benefit from the new services, provided under the National psychosocial support program.
Prior to the opening of the tender, Primary Health Tasmania collected and analysed valuable feedback from Tasmanians likely to benefit from these services, consumers, carers, local GPs and existing service providers. You can read a summary of the feedback here.
Organisations interesting in submitting a tender should do so through our eTender portal. All questions about the tender, which closes on Friday 7 December, must be submitted through the portal.
