New online engagement portal for Tasmanian COVID-19 residential aged care vaccination information
Posted on February 26, 2021
People living in residential aged care are among the first people in Australia to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This is part of the first phase of the national COVID-19 vaccine rollout strategy, which is referred to as Phase 1A.
The Australian Government has tasked Primary Health Networks around the country – including Primary Health Tasmania, for this state – with supporting local residential aged care facilities to prepare for the vaccinations.
To support local facilities involved in this stage of the vaccination rollout, Primary Health Tasmania has established an online engagement hub that includes:
- key points about the rollout
- a forum where facilities can ask questions
- useful documents relevant to the rollout
- links to other Primary Health Tasmania resources, such as Tasmanian HealthPathways.
