Resources: Updated community health profiles

We have updated our ‘Community Health Check’ resources, which present health, wellbeing and demographic information for each of Tasmania’s 29 local government areas.

The updated versions of these community profiles include some new categories:

• population by gender
• public hospital admissions by age group and gender
• age-standardised death rate
• a risk factor for ‘daily/occasional vaping’
• top 10 reasons for people being admitted to hospital, top 10 comorbidities that people are admitted to hospital with, and top 10 potentially preventable hospitalisations.
