‘All In’ for National Reconciliation Week 2026

Posted on May 25, 2026

Here in Australia, we are lucky enough to be home to one of the oldest continuing cultures in the world.

Each year, National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) brings communities together to reflect on and celebrate our shared histories, cultures and achievements with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation.

This year’s theme, All In, calls on everyone to commit to reconciliation – not just during this week, but every day. Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

Across Lutruwita/Tasmania, a wide range of events and activities are being held throughout National Reconciliation Week. These include community gatherings, cultural experiences, workshops, talks and commemorations that provide opportunities to connect, learn and reflect.
