We have developed or licensed a range of tools to support best practice care and connect health professionals with each other, such as:

It’s important general practice support is not seen as a separate standalone function from the other things we do, including our role as commissioners.
Ultimately, the roles are linked, as a continued focus on workforce capacity building is an essential ingredient for a sustainable primary health care system.

General practice support and commissioning are both key tools for PHNs in improving service system efficiency and effectiveness, and coordination of care for those most in need.
